Earlier today over half had voted for Buffalo...my guess is it will
probably swing again once kids are back in school tomorrow.

If Buffalo gets back Numminen and Tallinder, their chances improve by
quite a bit. Ruff can talk about how the injuries to his defence corps
haven't affected his team at all, but that's not true and everyone knows it.
If they have a healthy blue-line, they can beat Carolina.

Tallinder and Kalinan are both out for the remainder of the playoffs. They
also say that Connolley is day to day. That too is a lie, his brain is
scrambled eggs. He has a concussion and for a guy who already missed a year
from it he will not be back. I would be suprised if he is.

That's a tough break for the Sabres- with a healthy line-up they should be
able to handle the 'Canes with relative ease. Without them, the 'Canes are
getting to too many rebounds as well as getting open far too often in the
slot like with Stillman's game-winner in Game 5.

...... like with Recchi's goal, ...... like with Brindamour's goal
................

The Sabre defensive coverage (and the Cane's at times) looks like the Oil in
their own end during the 2nd and 3rd periods of game #4 against the Ducks.

Yeah last report I heard was Tallinder broke his arm, so if that's the case
he is done.

FYI - Buffalo was leading that poll up until around noon today. A few
people off the bandwagon?!
